Q.Compensation on Flight delay/cancellation
Wanted to know the process for claiming compensation in case of flight delay/cancellation as DGCA has a 20k limit on the amount. Also, the time taken to get the compensation post the process.

A. ) You will have to issue Legal Notice to the airline company and DGCA at the same time for the delay and loss of your time and income and other relevant factors to be considered for the calculation of the compensation in your case.
Once the Legal Notice is issued to the airlines and DGCA , then the Airlines will surely settle the matter with you.

A. ) Dear client if your flight was cancelled or delayed for more than 2 hours, airlines have to pay compensation of up to Rs. 10,000. While, if you were denied to board your flight due to overbooking you may claim compensation up to Rs. 20,000.The regulation has been updated in August 2016, the maximum compensation amount has now risen from 3,000 INR to 20,000 INR.
