I am unmarried daughter, both my father and mother have die.My father was working in Railway, at time of death was getting pension. I apply for pension but pension office (Divisional Rail Manager Office, Prayagraj ) pension officer told me my younger brother will get pension till age 25 then after he reach 25. i am eligible for pension. In railway pension rule, it clearly say, if two or more children are eligiable for pension. it should be given in elder child.

my father die 3 year ago, now my younger brother is 25 ( so not more eligible for pension ) but they not give pension saying, he will give 3 year to brother and for that he need to apply.
this pension can be paid to only one child in this case. if you can show you are dependent on your father more than your brother did, then there is a chance to get it to you.
