to cancel marriage registration

i got married 2 years back that time i register in sub registrar office. Now we both are divorced . we got order from court. Now i want to cancel my registration . How to proceed .What all the document i should submit.

A.You don't have to cancel your registration. Decree of divorce is sufficient proof for dissolution of marriage

A.There is no need or provision for cancel of registration of marriage. The court order copy is vaild for all record & requirement.

A.Decree of divorce is enough. Marriage once registered can not be cancelled it can only broken by decree of divorce. After the decree of divorce the certificate has no legal identity

A.There is no need to cancel your registration because you have court decree of divorce.but for your kind of satisfaction you can apply to sub registrar office with divorce decree.

A.U should inform sub registrar about divorce by sending a certified copy of decree of divorce. It will be put up in the concerned file of ur marriage registration for further reference.

A.There is no provision for cancellation of registration. You just have to keep your divorce decree along with the marriage certificate always. Further, in some states there is a provision for noting of the Divorce Decree in the Register of Marriages. You can send a copy of your decree to the Registrar, if there is provision for noting, he will note it.

A.Once the court has passed a decree of divorce then the marriage is no more existing and hence any documents like marriage registration certificate becomes defunct and invalid. There is no more value or worth to this certificate and it certainly cannot be cancelled.
