I have OBC caste certificate and and am from up my Caste certificate issuing authority is Up goverment and my certificate is valid in state. I have applied for CAT exam and its requirements for OBC NC is according to the Central list of OBCs and when i went to check my caste name into the list it wasn’t mentioned and from till now am confused whethere to apply with Caste certificate or not . Please give some advice to me and what to do will i be able to use it in future for other things or what to do if its not under central list

A.In my humble suggestion, you must show a current caste certificate in order to apply for reserved seats otherwise you will only be considered for Unreserved or General seats.
