Audio Recording
One of my known person took a loan from me without any written documents. When he denied to repay timely I made a audio recording in my mobile where he acknowledged his debt and condition also but unable presently to repay. Can I take the shelter of court for recovery of loan on the basis of audio recording?

A.Audio files can be tampered with so it does not count as a proper evidence in court of law in India. You can send the accused person a legal notice or you can file a Money Suit against him to get your money back.

A.Audio recordings are not good evidences and they are kind of supportive evidences. You will have tough time for your case on the basis of just the audio clip. The other way for you to get your money back could be to send a legal notice to that person.
