I m working in a nationalised bank got suspended due to suspect in involvement in fraudulent activities.There was a e FIR lodged by the branch manager against me.Now the police investigating officer is threating me to give bribe or else he will arrest me and put me into jail.Can he do that? My only bank account has seized by the bank.I m now literally penniless and clueless what to do and where to seek help. Please guide.

A.Dear client,
In my humble suggestion, fraud is a non-cognizable offence. Hence, even if the police officer is threatening you, he cannot arrest you without a Magistrate order.
