Lease Amount Issue

I have taken a house on the lease basis on Aug'2014 and I have paid the money fully by cash. My agreement supposed to be renew on Aug'2016. Meanwhile my house owner attempted in murder case. His entire family gone out from the property on July'2016 and comeback by Nov'2019. I have stayed till Apr'2020 and asked many times to refund my lease amount but they didn't take care even listen. Now I have locked my room with my personal things and taken my key back. Now what to do? Kindly advice.

A.Dear client, in my humble suggestion, since the lease amount is your right, you can very much claim it in the Court of law.
