I got a job in 85. From the beginning a married officer followed me and told people that one of my relative has married a girl from
upper caste and he is taking revenge on me by having an affair with me so that he can exploit me or my family. And told people
that i should not be told about this so that he can trap me. But he could not trap me and left the job. After 10 years, some officers
trapped me on this issue. Due to which i lost my job in 2000. And my family members are torturing me for 22 years. My husband
is now having an affair with someone and now wants to divorce me. I don't know what to do .My husband doesn't allow me to
earn money and wherever i go, i get stalk from many people. These people are related to my husband. They told me that they are jailer (my husband, my parents family, my in-laws) and i am kaidi. Now i am 59 years old. After 2000 I left my home 3 times but I had to come back because they did not leave me even outside.
A married women can file a complaint Under Section 498 A or Under the provision of Domestic Violence Act at any point of time.

Section 498A in The Indian Penal Code
376 [498A. Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty.—Whoever, being the husband or the relative of the husband of a woman, subjects such woman to cruelty shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine. Explanation.—For the purpose of this section, “cruelty” means—
(a) any wilful conduct which is of such a nature as is likely to drive the woman to commit suicide or to cause grave injury or danger to life, limb or health (whether mental or physical) of the woman; or
(b) harassment of the woman where such harassment is with a view to coercing her or any person related to her to meet any unlawful demand for any property or valuable security or is on account of failure by her or any person related to her to meet such demand.]
