I purchased sony led tv on june 2022 and in sep 2022 the tv started malfuntioning. I made complaint and technician visited said the panel and mother board both are faulty. Company is ready to replace the part, but i want the replacement of the product, it seems product faulty as both these parts are main for tv. Can i get the product replaced or is it just parts that can be replaced.

A.Dear client,
You have a right to a defect-free product and in case a purchase turns out to be defective, you have a right, under the Consumer Protection Act, to a defect-free replacement or a refund. You can send a complaint to the National Consumer Helpline (nationalconsumerhlepline.in) and seek their intervention. They should be able to get you a new television set or a refund. If they are unable to resolve the problem, you will have to go to the consumer court.

A.Dear Sir,
Warranty will be only to replace the concerned parts of the product and not entire product itself. However, you can request them to replace them with entire product.
