Divorce issue - How to proceed

I'm Hema from Tamilnadu.
My husband has filed for divorce for cruelty. But actually he is the one who cheated on me. he's an homosexual and in contact with multiple boys. I have all his call recording. Initially he fought with me and sent me to my mother house and later on in his call with his friend he tells that some astrologer told that I'll not get any of my parents property and that astrologer told to send me out.
Even his sisters and his relative's have scolded me very badly I found it all in those call recordings. His uncle, sisters and his aunty were living on his money before our marriage. So they have planned and throwed me out of home.
He even says in a call that my parents have not given jewels to his expectations there are many call recordings. I first filed in police station there he created drama and cried not to file FIR and made a muchalika that he'll give back my marriage expenses and to go for mutual divorce.but later he have filed for divorce telling I had illegal relationship. But is intention is dowry.
Is there any way he'll get punished with call recording as proof. Mediation process is going for me on now sir. Can you please help me of how I should proceed. My lawyer tells to give divorce and that I'll get monthly maintenance. But will he get punished for spoiling my life sir Or will i get back my marriage expenses so i can use for my career purpose.Thank you.
