Sir,
Iam Rajamselvi from Kollam We have filed a pocso case against my father in law in the year 2015 . Two victims . One is my daughter and another is her friend. My daughter is now 14 yrs . Her friend is also same . We both the parents are not now willing to continue the case . He is 70 years old now . He had a heart surgery also. Case is on trial now . Sir I want to know whether I can withdraw my case now ? What are the proceduresPlz give me a suggestion

A.Dear Sir,
Since offences are serious in nature and effecting the society at large there is no provision for compounding the offences. However you may turn hostile before the trial court and ask the eye witnesses to turn hostile that is not to support the prosecution. Thus your father will be acquitted.

A.U can't withdraw the case.it is a non compoundable offence in which there can't be a compromise or settlement.
