My commercial cab has state permit and sometimes i get the drop service to jammu.
I often gone there without permission and somehow prevented from cops.
How can i get temporary multi state permit fr rto..i want to know which form number it is?
(acc to motor act)
If i go only paying barrier tax and without multi state temporary permit,is it legal?

A.Dear Client,
Get in touch with RTO Office of your district.
They will guide you and provide you the forms to fill up
and will also tell you the money to be deposited
officially to get your work done.

A.Dear client Temporary permits are issued to vehicles under section 87 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. It allows the vehicle to operate outside of Delhi for a limited period of time. The circumstances in which a vehicle is issued a temporary permit are as follows:
If the vehicle is travelling outside of the city and carrying passengers for a religious event or convention.
If the vehicle is travelling outside of the city for the purpose of seasonal business.
If the vehicle is travelling outside of the city so that a person can apply for the renewal of a permit or to resolve a pending decision.
To obtain a permit for motor cabs, the following criteria should be met:
The colour of the cab should be white.
Its seating capacity should be five.
The applicant applying for this permit should have an office with a telephone at a suitable location such that passengers can book it.
The applicant should have the finances to buy the vehicle for which he or she is applying for a permit. Also, the applicant should have adequate parking space for the parking of vehicles.
