IF I SELL SMALL THINGS LIKE MOBILE COVER ETC. IN LOCAL TRAIN OF MUMBAI. THEN THIS TYPE OF WORK IS LEGAL OR ILLEGAL ACCORDING TO INDIAN LAW. IF ILLEGAL THEN WHAT IS PUNISHMENT OR FINE.

A.Dear Sir,

It is illegal because the railway department never allow legally the hawkers in the moving train and punishment may be differ in terms of fine but if you repeat the same then you may sent to the jail.

A.If you sell any kind of small articles in a minimal quantity and at a very cheap price then you can sell such items in local train. It must be noted that the said item shall not be inflammable or illegal substance which is prohibited to use or sell in India. You may also seek a permit or license from the concerned railway authority to sell your goods in train so that you shall not be harassed in future by any competent authority.

A.Dear Client,

You can issue a license with the railway officials for selling these goods after which you wont face any trouble regarding the selling of good in local train.
