Complaint against Police
Sir,
Can pendency be a legitimate reason for NOT working on registered FIR by an SSP. Can this amount to corruption by Police officials using " pendency" as an excuse.
What actions can be taken against SSP.
A.Dear Sir,
Issuing FIR Is mandatory on the part of police. They cannot postpone the registering of any Complaint. You may go to High Court for necessary direction to the police.

A.Dear client,
If no investigation is conducted by them nor is it directed to be conducted through a subordinate officer, the remedy available is to approach a Judicial Magistrate of First Class.
If you can tell in detail what "pendency" the SSP is talking about, it will be easier to help.
