Love marriage - I am Muslim, my partner is Hindu

My name is Firoz, I am Muslim, my partner is Hindu, we are in relation for 4 years. Both of us are more than 22 years old, how can we both get married? There is no understanding.

Under the Muslim law, marriage between a Muslim and a Hindu is not considered as a valid marriage. And therefore, several rights do not arise in such a marriage.
But, Any person, irrespective of religion. Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, , Sikhs, Christians, Parsis, or Jews can also perform marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. Inter-religion marriages are performed under this Act.
