A.Any Indian can marry any person of different caste or nationality under the provision of the Special Marriage Act, 1954 therefore both the bride and the groom must have photo identity proof for proving their identity, residential address and age. There must be 3 (Three) witnesses {adult} to attest their marriage. Both the parties need to fill up a form before the marriage registrar prior to one month from the intended date of their registry marriage. Both the parties must have their own mobile number and email id respectively. These are the basic requirements to do registry marriage under the provision of Special Marriage Act, 1954. The marriage registrar is decided according to the jurisdiction of either of the parties intending to marriage but in this case, the marriage registrar shall be authorized under the jurisdiction of the groom since he is an Indian.

A.Dear client,
Court marriages in India have given an opportunity for individuals to solemnize their marriage procedure, regardless of their nationality. The Special Marriage Act governs the court marriage process and documents required to partake in the marriage. The registration of marriage legally is significant to make a marriage valid and to avail legal conjugal rights related to that. A marriage between a foreigner and an Indian citizen will deem to be valid if it is registered under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.
