A.Dear Sir,
3 months is the reasonable time. If you want more time to join the new service then go to High Court and get suitable direction to the new authority.

A.Dear client,
in normal conditions, you may get an extension of 3 months citing any reason but in case you want to take it for a long time, you should have a valid reason and you should make the officer believe that you are really in need of that leave, it is for you and not for any other purposes like preparation of other exams or anything. If you can get a medical certificate to prove that you are unfit, they might consider it, But don't risk it. It is better for you to take up the job.

A.Dear Sir,
You will be in risk and may lose both the jobs. Better resign the present job and join the new job as early as possible.
