NGO with same name
Respected Sir/Madam,
Kindly check my query. I am seeking your valuable advice.
A friend of mine registered an NGO in Karnataka, and later she found that there are two NGOs with the same name in different states. There is only one alphabet difference between my friend's NGO and the other two NGOs. Since she has already registered, changing the name will be difficult, is there any legal problem in continuing with the same name? Kindly help.
Thank you.
A.Dear Client
You should express your concern to the appropriate authority where you have registered your NGO.
Also, if they suggest you to change the name, you should do it as it may lead to difficulties and miscommunications in future.
Hope it helps
