Work From Home Employee Monitoring- Mobile Device Management

Is it legal for companies to use employee data collected from Mobile Device Management Softwares such as Duo Mobile, Microsoft Intune Company Portal and Microsoft Office and Workplace Accounts to use for marketing, advertisement and other purposes?

It is neither legal or illegal as in India till now, we don't have personal data protection bill and It Act does not cover this topic in its ambit.
For now, it is an ongoing process in the company-advertisement industry.

Thankyou for your answer. Can an employer do satellite surveillance/ tv monitoring of an employer? Is it legal in India how do you catch traces of such an act?
A.Dear Sir,
it will be legal unless some one objects for it. Any way u will be in safer side since the work is assigned by your employer. As such ur employer will be held liable.
