Can I File a FIR or take some legal action if a person denies to give me my laptop back?
If not what should I do?

A.Hi client,
If that laptop originally belongs to you and you have a proof that you gave away the laptop to someone. Then, you can approach the person once via mail or any other medium. If she/he do not respond then lodge an FIR for the same.

A.If you have the original bill of that alleged laptop then you may file a FIR for theft of your laptop by that accused person otherwise you need some documentary proof to evident that your laptop has been theft by that person only.

Yes I have the Bill.. I too have the call recordings of the person saying that he has lost my laptop and will provide me a new laptop or will pay me for the laptop. But now he has blocked me . And is not meeting me.
