Salary Issue

I recently got a salary hike for relocating to other city. After relocation, they said extra salary amount will be credited each month but will show as a staff loan in my pay slip as in other variables section.
Also they sent me an email stating - I will be getting new salary amount but extra amount will show as staff loan and once I complete 1 year, that will be automatically settled.
So if I leave before 1 year, can they take any legal action?

As company have right to recover the amount if you left the company before an year, this is the reason they are adding into the loan account.

Since the company is showing the amount as staff loan, so they have a right to recover from the employee. So as per policy, if you leave the job within one year, then the company may ask for refund of the amount.
