Need a legal advice

I have created an Android App that organises online contest after every one hour or less than that in which e.g, every contest has 50 spots and about 25 or more winners. Users have to pay entry fee and when then contest period is over (contest countdown), the system automatically declare the winners. Now I want to know that is this app Legal in India?
If yes, then thank you.
If not, then please let me know how to make it legal? What is the procedure for it? How much it costs?
NOTE: I'm talking about all over India not specific states where it is legal.

Online games of chance are prohibited by law in India unless allowed by states since they are legally treated as gambling/betting.

A.You need to apply for license to execute such gaming app in the society therefore you need to perform several obligations and also need to submit necessary documents providing complete information about the said gaming app to the Government as it involves currency.

A.Hi client,
Gaming apps based on skills ae not illegal unless they spread wrong and immoral messages. There are certain states who have completely banned such apps. You need to have proper permission from the government.

This is illegal and you can not run applications for games involving money you have to take approvals and perform legal obligations.
