Hi, I resigned from TCS on May 2021 after confirming that I have no dues or penalities, now I got a legal notice from India Law and TCS that I have to pay a fine of 2L for unauthorized absence. I have no emails to back up, only spoke on call. Happened in the lockdown period of Jan2020-May2021. I have been unemployed after my resignation for 1.5 years now. What can I do to settle this in amicable words without any fines and legal issues

A.Dear Sir,
U have to just get reply to that legal notice through senior advocate and thereafter, they may be prevented from approaching the Court.

A.Hi client,

In that case contact the employer via mail. You need to speak to them . Such important matters related to employment must be done in writing and documentary form. Mere oral conversations do not prove show.
The terms and conditions in the contract will be acting for such decision.
