I am a CA student and started my articleship on 11/07/2018 but did not do franking on my articleship deed. Now i came to know that we need to do franking of it. Can i do franking now on the backdated Deed? and if no, then what should i do? Because i have got registered with ICAI already.

A.Dear Student,
As far as my knowledge goes you can not do franking ( of to day) with a back dated DEED.
Since you have registered with ICAI there is no problem but, you have to re do it.
The best option for you is to get in touch with Regional Office of CA where you are located/the State of your domicile and they will give you correct advice without disturbing the date of your Articleship.
