Blocking of path by my brother to my land

Hi I'm venkatesh my father had 8 acres of land. After he passed away that land was shared among the my brother and mine. My brother had the land which is attached to the road and i got the land above his land and he is not letting me to enter my land through his part of land. So, How can I legally proceed to get path through his land

Since it was single land at the time of partition as such you have easementary right to enter into your property failing which you may approach revenue or civil courts.
