Neighbour beaten my parents

Actually, when I was sitting at my shop. Few dabang people came and started to beat me and then when my parents came for the rescue then they attacked on them too. And threatened them and abused all of us. They have beaten us by rod and bamboos.
So how we can take action against them.?? As per senior citizens act and other acts
