We shifted to our grandparents home in 2020 due to some financial issues due to the losses in lockdown my father could not afford the rent of our flat so we decided to move to our grandparents house but since we started living here my uncles are torturing us and giving life threats to me and my mother they only give us 20 ft room (a very small portion of the entire house) and command us to live in that 20ft (our kitchen and bathroom is also included in this 20ft) otherwise they will beat us and my uncles live in such a big portion of our house they use the first floor the second floor and the entire terrace but not let us use any area of the house my portion is so small that we cant even keep our wardrobe inside our house it is kept outside. They always throw our clothes out of our cupboard and torture us and threaten us to leave the entire house. I am a girl and i live with my mother and 2 small brothers please help. They always abuse me and my mother and beat us if we raise our voice. Please help we dont have money to move to a new house. We keep on adjusting but they always trouble us they keep their belonging at our door and block the way. They throw garbage at our door and try to torture us every time . Please tell me something so that i can get equal portion as they have its very difficult for us 5 to live in a 20ft room. Whenever we say that we want to build a room they start threatening us and say no you can't. I go to college and my uncle who has a criminal background threaten me that he will throw acid on my face and will kidnapp me from there. My father is very scared and is financially weak so he is not filing any complaint against them. But i dont feel safe over here please help. Please tell me something so that i can get an equal portion of my grandparent house

A.Dear Client,
Kindly first file a police complaint about the domestic violence that you have faced and leave no details behind. Secondly, you can file for partition suit separate from a domestic violence suit and that should help you.
