False allegation and defamation in family matter False allegation and defamation in family matter

Hello,
Am looking for legal advice for a situation that has occurred recently (30/Jan/2023) regarding in a family matter. My sister (30 years old) has made a false allegation that I have physically assaulted her and is threatening me that she will (might have already) file an FIR to teach me a lesson to respect her. She has made the claim as she puts it "he kicked me in the stomach" (add to the contrary she actually assaulted me) even though she seemed fine walking around screaming and showed no proof of physical trauma or bruising to any other family and as for you would have guessed why she didn't because I did not commit, said such claim of hers. She is an egomaniac and I want her punished for it. Hence I am looking for a legal path to proceed to sue or counter sue her claim for defamation and false allegation. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
P.S - This the first time I am seeking legal advice professionally

A.Dear Client
Firstly check that did she file an FIR or not through Police website of your concerned state and if she has not registered then there will be no case. If she registered an FIR then you need to settle this dispute , by compromising though settlement deed and quashing an FIR through High Court.
Hope it helps.

A.Dear Sir,
If you want you can file counter complaint immediately. You may get anticipatory bail and go for quashing of such false FIR registered against you.
