Rectification deed or new sale deed?
Hi, I would like to know if I am exchanging a plot in a layout from landlord with same dimension in Bangalore(survey number & other details are same only change is plot number & schedule & not paying any additional amount to landlord), whether I need to go for exchange deed & pay full registration/stamp duty or I can go ahead with rectification deed by paying nominal fee?
Awaiting for your quick response. Thanks!! Regards Keshava

A.Dear Client,
If you are doing the Registration again and if the Number changes then it is a new case for them and you need to pay full registration/stamp duty etc to the Government.
Still better you check with the Registration department of the Government of Karnataka anywhere because the Registration Law will be the same for the entire state of Karnataka.
