Sir I approached insurance company. They are giving only 85% of IDV,deducting 15% as penalty for wrong NCB mentioned by me(not intentionally) during online renewal of insurance.I mentioned 25% NCB instead of 20%.Now what to do?

A.Yes you should approach the consumer forum, but prior to that you need to send a legal notice to Maruti Udyog Limited through an advocate. I hope the 6th Nov 2018 incident has been reported to the local police station where the incident occured. You can contact me for sending the notice, as I am located in Kolkata

in this situation first get 85% of IDV from them with a protest notice. Alternatively you serve a legal notice and dispute for the remaining 15% of the IDV in a civil court. Contact a local lawyer from Vidhikarya
