DV Act, 2010 J&K eligible whole of India

Respected to Sir /mam,
Can an application under domestic violence act,be filed in J&K with respect to the incident occurred outside the state of J&K?
The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005 Central.
The act does not extend to J&K, which has its own laws, the Jammu and Kashmir Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2010.
Actually matter is that I'm suffering a fake case due to mentally physically financially harrasment from my wife and there family. They want extrotion of money. Those are not belong to J&K Permanent Resident.
Already Judicial magistrate first class Disposed-Dismmised of the her case.
Now they will appeal in session court. In KASHMIR valley.

A.Dear sir /mam Jammu and Kashmir Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2010. U can not file case any other states. If u not reside in Jammu Kashmir then you can file case where u reside currently
