Advice regarding appeal

Is it effective with one who appeals first in session court. Does it make any difference in regards to judgement by being a respondent

Can we appeal to session court for interim order as partial order has been passed.so order has been passed since the date of order so we want to appeal for enhancement and also for the arrears of maintenance.

There are many factors taken in to account before passing an order.
So, it is difficult to say anything without knowing the full story.
