Company Denying Health Support ask for Work From Home Company Denying Health Support ask for Work From Home

I have been diagnosed with cervical spondylitis and is undergoing the treatment. Have been informed by the doctor the issue occured due to long sitting hours working on laptop and incorrect body posture while working. I am advised by the doctor to ensure the correct posture while working. I requested my company to assist and procure an orthopedic chair as i work from home. The request has been denied and the reason is because I have resigned and serving the notice period. I still have 75 days to serve the company however they are denying the support specially when the occurance of the injury was due to the work condition as I sat long hours and was not provided with any office furniture to ensure correct working condition. Can I claim compensation for my injury and what are the entitlement per law. Is the company oblidged per law to support my condition and approve to procure a chair.
