Am i supposed to pay property tax if my property is registered in my name but khata bifurcation has not happened and i do not have khata certificate in my name.

As per the information you have given , Khata certificate decides the valuation of your property, property with Khata certificate has good market value in market. hence keep this document in your name handy.
Khata is one of the important revenue document, make use of your tax payment wisely.
