I am a mother of 9th month old baby girl, since that time i am staying with my parents. inlaws stays at bangaluru. they are misbehaving with us. does not help financily and we dont have any contact.
now i am decided to go there and collect my jewellary and few staff.i communicate with him to collect my staff. he told i have to written when i will collect.what should i do??? i dont want to file divorce. can i get any maintainance for my baby and me? i m not working .. so i could not afford a paid lawyer for procces

A.Mam as per your query,
There are a variety of things you can do in the given circumstances.

1. You can ask for free legal help.
2. You can file a Section 125 Crpc [Maintenance Case] upon your husband & claim maintenance.
3. You can seek legal help from the bar council legal welfare cell / Women & child center of your place who deal with such matters.
4. You can also file a case of Section 498a IPC [Husband or relative of a husband subjecting her to cruelty]
5. You can also file a Domestic Violence Case under section 12 of the PWDV Act & claim maintenance & various other reliefs like monetary compensation, separate accommodation, compensation for losses etc.
