Dispute over common passage stairway
I bought second floor flat in the adjacent building to my house. Now I want to open a pathway from my house to adjacent flat on second floor. The door would be in common stairway and it won't create any hinderence to any resident of first or third floor. Plus I want to open a door on third floor to access my roof in adjacent building. According to flat papers the everyone has rights on all three floors passage way and roof (the building of flat which I bought later on). I just want to know is it illegal to open a door on second and third floor to access my old building. The door won't occupy my extra space of this building plus it won't steal anyone's privacy and it won't create any hindrance in normal usage of passage or stairway. Please answer
