Dear sir, (1) Can I seek information regarding the fir/cases filed on a person X ? (2) if yes,then how to ask the same without having fir number etc ? (3) Can we seek information regarding disciplinary action taken on a govt employee throughout his/her service through rti ?

Dear Sir,
My answers are as follows:
(1) Can I seek information regarding the fir/cases filed on a person X ?
Ans: Yes, by filing third party affidavit you can get certified copies. It is a public document no body can deny.
(2) if yes,then how to ask the same without having fir number etc ?
Ans: By giving name police or court staff can find out the FIR.

(3) Can we seek information regarding disciplinary action taken on a govt employee throughout his/her service through rti ?
Ans: Yes, he is public servant and answerable to every body.
