Sir I am a elected councillor in a panchayat union council. I started a firm having partner of my brothers son. I have 50% share. Can I register my firm in same panchayat union council as a contractor and participate in tender of civil works. Pl tell me
A.Dear Sir,
There are two things. Either be a Contractor or Councillor.
You can not have both the roles.
Next is Rules, Regulation, Ethics etc.

A.no you're not entitled to as you're holding a position of a councillor in the panchayat union council.

A.U cannot enter into the contract . Because Ur the hold the position of councillor. Otherwise u will need to resign from post

First get it registered as Partnership firm but you cannot take contracts panchayat.
