Can employer prevent me leave co for some pending Issue.
I am a complainant thus filed FIR in another state on behalf of my company with whom i am working with presently for dishonesty and fraudulent activity of our staff. The case is under investigation and charge sheet not yet prepared. I was complainant because i have internally investigated facts of case and presented report to management.
Now if
1) i want to leave company for better prospect then can i leave my job.
2) Can company hold my gratuity settlement and pressurize me for stay back until case finalized and charge sheet made .
3) can police pressurize me for attending case after i leave the company and frame penalty on me.
