Service tax Service tax

I had service tax registration in2006. After getting government job in 2009 I didn't submit any return. Even I didn't surrender my service tax registration. Recently central excise department has imposed huge amount penalty. I'm at my wits end what to do.

A.As per Law you must surrender your registration if you intended to windup your business, now you can plead to appropriate authorities for waiver of penalty or consult with an advocate through Vidhikarya.
