Pf account Pf account

My husband passed away during the settelment of his pf pension which is still pending. Now the employer approved the form with the pf account no and EPFO is denying that the pf account was closed in 2007 and shifted to different account.
How do I know the whole story and circumstances under which my husband's account got closed and transferred and all the transactions and shares done by the employer?

Sir the thing is,, I have recently on 14 feb 2019 sent them back pf form approved by the employer... Representing that they can rectify the required information as per the provision of epfo because I am only the nominee cum senior citizen, unable to wander here and there. and requested them to update my contact no so that the details can be accessed online.

A.Madam, you can go to the bank where your late husband had his account and ask for details in writing in the form of a letter.
Also, you can write a similar letter to the Office of the PF Commissioner of your State asking for the same details.

Thanks
