Sir, managing committee has caused loss to the society by using society funds to fight cases. The cases were against the managing committee and not the society. As per Sec 73(1AB), managing committee is responsible for acts and omissions which are detrimental to the interests of the society. If a complaint is filed, under which section will the Registrar take action? There is nothing under 73(1AB) which specifies penalty.

Not helpful. That is as per old law before 2013 amendment. Earlier the Registrar used to take action under Section 78 but not that section is not applicable to housing societies. I want to know under which section does he take action now if he holds committee responsible for causing losses to society
