Addition of Desertion to divorce petition

My divorce Case is going on from past 2 years on the grounds of cruelty.
Guide me on the following..
How to add desertion ground in divorce petition....
Kindly help me with the evidence of mental cruelty..

A.Order 6 rule 17 as to addition of desertion.
And for evidence of mental cruelty it is based on circumstantial evidences.
And for evidence of mental cruelty it is based on circumstantial evidences.

A.Dear Sir,
You can amend the clause of desertion by filing application under Order 6 Rule 17 of Civil Procedure Code.

17. Amendment of pleadings
The Court may at any stage of the proceedings allow either party to alter or amend his pleadings in such manner and on such terms as may be just, and all such amendments shall be made as may be necessary for the purpose of determining the real questions in controversy between the parties.
