The High Court has granted permanent stay against the City Corporation for demolition our house earlier. Recently the adjoining property owners have started construction work after obtaining permission from the City Corporation.Since the walls being common can the adjoining owners demolish part or fully the common walls citing the permission from the Corporation despite the stay

A.dear client The Stay order was given to protect the demolition of your house by the City Corporation. The other owners are constructing their property and if something is in common then they can use it or mold it because it is common in nature.

A.The Stay is specific against city Corporation, the adjoining owners are not specifically barred. It is better to consult a senior Lawyer and obtain modification of High court stay in view of new threat from adjoining owners.
