The company that I was working closed down its operations without giving adequate prior notice to its employees about the same. The company did not even give any proper assurance to the employees regarding any compensation financially. Employees were told they will get their dues paid on the day of the salary, but the company has not even paid a month's salary to the employees against the compensation which the company is supposed to pay according to Labour and Employment Act. In this case, what are the employees supposed to do and please suggest the best legal route so that the company pays the employees their full dues.

A.dear client in your case You should file a case before the Labour Court with maximum number of employees without any further delay.

A.You are protected under the Payment of wages Act and various Labour Laws. What is required is quick action on the part of You & Other Employees. There is Assistant Labour Commissioner in your city make a Complaint immediately. It is advised to consult and engage Labour & Employment Lawyer to file the complaint & pursue till you get you outstanding Salary/wages and dues.
