I have purchased a plot in gurgaon, Registry done at Tehsil. I have paid remaining amount through cheque post dated.

Now builder is asking for remaining payment on urgent basis.

Can i pay IMPS to builder and collect cheque back which i have given to him at the time of Registry?

Any legal issue ??? because that cheque number and amount is mentioned in sale deed

What are the step i have to do ? Please Help

A.execute an agreement, written, containing facts that the cheque has been received by you and you will make payment of cheque amount through IMPS.
and keep the agreement with the registry

A.First take back cheque then transfer. And take in written on his latter heads. With no dues

A.Make a written agreement containing all such changes & get it registered.

A.No problem. Get back the cheque and also a stamped receipt quoting IMPS reference number and that payment is received in lieu of the cheque
