My parent in laws are 60 years old. They are NRI person. They bought a new house for own use meanwhile a lady came to meet them and ask to give house on rent for 4 months on 8000 Rs per month and give a cheque of Rs 8000 as advance but when cheque was presented in bank it got bounced.
My in laws returned the cheque and asked them they do not want let house on rent. After some days when my in-laws visited the house they found locks of house broken and same lady is residing with her family. They made a police complaint and second party accepted in written that they will vacate house by 1.4.2019 but on next day they also filed complaint in police station against police party and my in-laws for force fully  got signatures for vacating house. In their complaint they mentioned the name of unknown person as owner of house.

After that we filed complaint of forcefully and ill legally entering in our house in SSP office  which is under process but yesterday we received a registered legal notice through their council in which they mentioned that house is on rent and they promise to vacate house within 2 months of receipt of this letter and will pay rent for the period.
Now what can we do as we have not entered in any rental contract with them. They are showing fake rental agreement but none of my parents signed that. Their is another same kind of case won by another owner against them. My parent in laws are 60 years old. They are NRI person.
