Unsolicited Goods & Inertia selling Unsolicited Goods & Inertia selling

I was sent two packages from Puma India which I never payed or place an order. But after a month they called me and started asking me to pay for those shoes & threatened me to take legal action against me. The invoice & address was under my name & address. So I wanted to know that am I allowed to keep it because there was no contract between us and it was unsolicited. Just need an advise. Thank you

if no scam, just tell them that you hadn't placed the order and some other person might have used your credentials, and tell them to cancel the order,
nothing much to worry

A.You should not take such a delivery. As such delivery is not made by you there is definitely some mistake from their end. However if you take such delivery then you become liable for the payment of such goods be it solicited or non solicited. If in case they are asking you to pay the money you should show them that you have not placed any order of the same. But in case you have taken the goods then you are liable to pay the full amount of the same. As such delivery will be treated as acceptance.
Thanks
