A.There are several factors of law which determines which is valid adoption. Especially the age factor. A child cannot be adopted when his age is more that 14 years and wife's consent is necessary but depends upon circumstances.

A.No You cannot and there are strict procedure to adopt a child wherein you ( both the adopting parents) will have to undergo lot of checks before you are allowed to adopt a child.
