In the absence of any contracts or your consent in that regard, the company cannot force you to pay for the mandatory training or course. So, in this situation, you can file a complaint against the company before the State Labour Commissioner for the unfair labor practice. Further, if your concerns are not addressed, you can file a suit against the employer before the Labour Court and seek appropriate remedy. But, if you are not covered under the definition of workmen in Section 2(s) of the I D Act, then you can file a civil suit. If required, you can consult an advocate for advice and compliance.
